TOKYO CRAYON.EXE Starts 2021 Season Strong

Team Crayon kicked off their 2021 season with an impressive team performance over a span of four total games - two pool play matches, semifinals, and final. Crayon's Round 1 roster featured veterans Ryan Tana and Spencer Jennings, with recent addition, Mark St. Fort. St. Fort played with Crayon in their FIBA World Tour debut last November in Doha, Qatar. TR selection Chihiro Sawagashira was Team Crayon's fourth player.
Team Crayon's first game was against Koto Pheonix.EXE, and beat them 21-10. Their second game was against new team Shibuya Futures.EXE, and came out victorious 21-18. In the semi-final game, Team Crayon faced another new team, Saitama Wild Bears.EXE, and defeated them 21-9. Crayon faced their long time rival, Tokyo Dime.EXE in the championship game - it was a back and forth battle between the two heavyweights, coming down to the final play, where eventual MVP Mark St. Fort knocked down the game winning two-pointer with 52 seconds left, making Tokyo Crayon.EXE champions of Round 1 for Central Tokyo Conference, winning 22-20.
In addition to winning MVP honors, Mark St. Fort became the top overall scorer (39 points) of the entire league after the first round. See below video for highlights from four games .
The team will look to continue getting better and stronger, preparing for Round 3 on June 27th, in Tachikawa.
